Our bar retains its old world charm and offers a warm, convivial atmosphere. There is a raging log fire so you can sit back, relax and enjoy our extensive range of good quality wines and our ever changing selection of well kept real ale, ensuring you can experience many ales you may have never tried, as well as those established Cumbrian favourites.

In the summer months you can sit out in our extensive gardens with a spectacular view of Muncaster Fell and enjoy a meal, a glass of wine and even Bower House Ale which is made using a special recipe and is exclusive to our own bar.
